Family members of Orange Projects managing director Jon Short raised money for Cancer Research UK by completing the Race for Life event at Horsham Park at the start of June.

Jon’s wife Caroline, his mum, daughters, auntie, sister and niece between them raised £1,000 by completing the 5km run.

They were running in memory of “the two Renes”, who were mums, grandparents and great-grandparents of those taking part.

More than 1300 women and girls took part in the event, which raised more than £90,000 in total.

Jon said: “I’m really proud of all the members of my family who not only took part but raised a great deal of money for a fantastic cause which is close to our hearts. It was a great way to remember two lovely ladies.”
